This case will hold up to 7 spinning rods and up to 10 conventional rods, you will need to add form padding to both end of the case to prevent bent rod tip. I brought the Plano Airliner 6508 to Panama. For yourprice range of $200-250 you might be able to pick up just the reel seat, or a couple of guides, on that synit. Could be a bit on the heavy side, but a good match for a 10k.
